Our Foundation Story

Cedar Design Collective began in 2009 when three passionate designers recognized a gap in creative education that truly prepared students for industry challenges.

What started as weekend workshops in a converted warehouse has evolved into Manchester's premier creative education destination. Our founders believed that traditional education missed the mark - students needed hands-on experience, real-world projects, and mentorship from practicing professionals.

Today, we've maintained that founding spirit while expanding our reach. Our graduates work at leading design agencies, launch successful freelance careers, and even return as instructors, creating a continuous cycle of creative growth within our community.
